Clothing Line
An alt style clothing line with a focus on real peopleThe Mission
The goal of this clothing line is to highlight my own creations as well as sell high quality pieces from other designers around the world in one simple location. There currently isn’t a lot of sites selling alt fashion — in fact, sites and stores that once focused on this market have since switched business models (i.e. Hot Topic) and made finding good alt clothing difficult.
We want to focus on quality and real people. All of our creations and the items sold on our site will be modeled by real people: no photoshop trickery, no body shaming, none of that. We want models that depict an alternative style from what is typically seen in models and magazines. Plus size, tattoos, piercings, etc. are all welcome.

Our Goal
There are multiple parts of this business model that make it successful even though we’re targeting a very niche market. For starters, this gives me a place to sell my own creations. Alt clothing design has been sort of a hobby for me over the past few years. Second, I want to give our models a secure platform to act as their online portfolio — think similar to Model Mayhem but with more relaxed restrictions. I also want this brand to have an alt style blog that would cover topics relating to the audience and maybe highlight some of the models in different photoshoot sessions. Lastly, since this brand is ecommerce, we will be partnering with larger designers and offering affiliate links that drive income even if my items aren’t selling.

Get Involved!
We have everything from the business end covered including writers, developers, and a full marketing team. Right now we really need models both male and female. Our models will be compensated 20% of the sales that their pieces earn. For example, if a piece you modeled earns us $1000, you’d get 20% for as long as we sell that item! We also plan to have an alt style blog and if you participate in that during our early stages, your cut jumps up to 30%.
You can get involved by clicking the button below. As part of this sign up process, you will create your portfolio. Images you upload should include headshot, examples of you in goth/alt style clothing, revealing clothing such as bra and underwear or lingerie, as well as any poses or additional images you’d like to upload. If you’d like to participate in our alt blog, we’ll need to see examples of some boudoir style shots.
